Hello SCX Digital fans,
I learned a lot from your thread on where you converted different cars to SCX Digital
After a few conversion now into digital (ie Scalex Maserati MC12 and the Solt.it Nissan R390),
I thought it was time for a real challenge
So, I tried my personal dream car from Slot.it Audi R8C Snetterton.
It took a while because the room for the guide and the chip arm below the front lid is very small, but I got it to work and it is just great.
Car is running fine on the track and with a good control and pace.
Somebody in the slotforum asked me for a how-to guide and I thought I share it in this forum as well.
Have fun reading and good luck if you try it.

We are are also not good in racing .
But when we meet to race we use to drink beer, and thats the really reason to meet
Obviously, you will be invited to join us if you visit our country

Yes, the motor is the original. Very strong and fast, but working perfect and good to control. Although full speed almost impossible

Hi svenh, first of all you are welcome to slotdigital.com , I have a question for you, have you tried a Ninco Digital System? , I know that you like convert cars to Sds system but with ND system you could use more kind of cars instead of Sds system and also any kind of engines , and about DjLutz, he is joking with the beer becouse he does not like beer, just a little coke
I think you could enjoy much with ND and good job with that Audi R8C

thanks to welcome me in the forum.
Yes, I have tried the Ninco System a while ago but I am addicted to SCX Digital. I am having SCX Digital now for over 2.5 years and I like the features comes with it. Certainly cars are easier to convert with Ninco but on the other side this was a try to see what is possible. Although it takes longer to convert, it is fun to do it and the result is the same.
Finally if I start now with an additional system, I am getting serious problems with my wife No space left anymore in the house
I hope I have one day the chance to meet some spanish SCX colleagues to have a beer or coke and have a fun race.

Hi, so far, no problems encountered. I did 100 laps in in go without any problems. But I don't have a high speed track. My longest lane is 4,50 m.

I have the same car and i didn't change the engine and everything is ok. I made several races with 5 cars on the track and no problem. I check the engine's specs and goes to 21000 rpm, not so much. With a bit of luck the engine don't burn the chip.

Thanks a lot for that information ! Good to hear.
I think the motor is very tough and the car becomes very fast, but I personally like the feel to drive this car as it is very smoothly and think the motor is matching very well to the system.
